We have always made every effort to protect our customers’ personal information as our highest priority. However, we regret to inform you that, due to an unforeseen incident, some of your valuable personal information has been leaked. We sincerely apologize for this matter.
To provide EGSIM prepaid voice services, we collect passport image files from customers and mask the passport numbers contained in those passports. However, we failed to take sufficient protective measures, and as a result, some passport image files were leaked by a hacker after 7:40 PM on March 18, 2026.
The exact date and time of the leak are currently under investigation in cooperation with KISA (Korea Internet & Security Agency). Once the details are confirmed, we will provide additional notice.
The leaked personal information consists of six items contained in the passport image files: name, date of birth, passport number, gender, nationality, and photograph.
Immediately after becoming aware of the incident, we blocked access to the passport image file server and related paths, deleted unmasked passport data, and removed the passport image file upload process.
